In this poem, Wordsworth shows how he desired the sort of small talk from a person in his own household. He also talks about how he can't really blame any celestial object for doing the same thing. This is because Wordsworth admits that he himself does not take backtalk from anyone in his own household. I find that this is a very touching part in the poem because it shows that even though Wordsworth was a famous poet, he also had to endure humdrum things like taking backtalk from his servants in a domestic setting.
